Northern Lights Optometry has big night in weekly squash league; team scores 18

Katrina Russell and Loralee Martin combined for the bulk of Northern Lights Optometry's points in the Thursday Night Squash League.

Katrina Russell and Loralee Martin combined for the bulk of Northern Lights Optometry's points in the Thursday Night Squash League.

The two players each scored six points and Northern Lights Optometry went on to defeat Underhill 18-9.


Northern Lights Optometry 18, Underhill 9

Substitute player Stephen Grundmanis also played very well for Northern Lights, scoring five points, while Zoe Walker scored the team's remaining point.

Jeanette Carney finished with six points for Underhill.


Kumon Learning 13, Sterling Insurance 12

Kathleen Froese scored the most points for Kumon Learning, chipping in six in total, while substitute Brad Duprees finished with five.

Substitute player Lara Trotter and Judy Ratcliffe also scored for the squad.

Mark Beese and Damin Sinclair scored all 12 points for Sterling Insurance.


Uniglobe Specialty Travel 14, Electrical Shop 11

Leonard Linklater and Tracy Pittman each scored six points for Uniglobe Specialty Travel, while Kai Knorr chipped in the team's remaining two points.

David Buckler led Electrical Shop in points with six points and Bruce Trotter finished with five points.
