Takhini Gas needed all three sets to defeat Something Sweet in the annual Big Thaw Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.

Takhini Gas needed all three sets to defeat Something Sweet in the annual Big Thaw Volleyball

Tournament on Saturday.

Takhini Gas defeated the Borgford Beauties in the semi-finals to move on while Something Sweet eliminated Jake's Team to advance.

Nine teams participted, including teams from Haines and Juneau. The annual event, which includes a dance – this year's theme was the '70s – is held to raise funding for Volleyball Yukon.
