Familiar faces were back on the podium at the 2017 Table Tennis Yukon Championships.

Held at Elijah Smith Elementary School, participants circled the handful of tables set up in the gymnasium for round-robin and playoff games.
In the rookie division, Jesse Caley was first, while Rogan Parry was second and Kaleb Parry was third.
Only two junior boys took part, so a pair of open players also played to ensure a fair round-robin. Sam Crocker was first, while Ethan Gaw was second.
The junior girls division saw Emily Gaw of Dawson City repeat her title win. Sarah Nyland was second and Kate Crocker was third.
In the open women division, Christina Nie was back on top after defeating Xui Mei Zhang in the final. Gaw was third.
In the men’s final, Ryan Bachli defeated coach Kevin Murphy to win the championship. Daniel Li was third.
