New court crowned at King of the Canyon

After tackling more than 40 kilometres of trail, a new court was crowned at the King of the Canyon last Sunday.

Meagan Wilson was crowned as queen for being the top rider on the 47-kilometre course. She finished in three hours and two minutes. Josh DeCloet was crowned as king after being the top male to finish, crossing the line at the Schwatka Lake day-use area in 2:35.

On the shorter 26-kilometre course, David Pharand was first in 1:37, while Sam Oettli was second in 1:38.
