The wind is playing havoc with trail grooming but most trails are still in fair to good condition. Dog Trail, Copper to Best Chance and Upper Valley were groomed Thursday morning. Some tracks will be drifted in and there are some thin spots.

Selwyn's Loop and World Cup 5K were groomed Wednesday evening. Some tracks will be drifted in but skiing is good. All lit trails are now in fair to good condition. Most other trails have been groomed in the past week. Lower Valley through the Beaver Swamp is still not skiable. The Sarah Steele Trails are in poor condition and need more snow.

Trail lights are on from dusk to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The alternate parking area adjacent to Dog Trail is open. Skiers using the Dog Trail parking area must have a membership or day pass to ski on Dog Trail.

Use caution when turning onto Hamilton Blvd. Skiers with dogs may also park in the Mt. McIntyre parking lot. Please use the designated access to the tie up area. Dogs are not allowed in the vicinity of the wax room.

Wax suggestions

Rode Violet or Swix special red; mild temperatures Thursday morning and a forecast for cooler weather, combined with wind blown snow will make waxing interesting and changeable during the day.
