Trail Report

Thanks to our busy groomers, most popular trails have been groomed and are in great condition for the weekend.

Copper to Best Chance, Dog, Selwyn's Loop, Raven, World Cup 5K, 7.5K, Coyote, Wolfe, Upper Valley, Lower Valley, Powerline and Monique Waterreus have been groomed this morning. They are in excellent condition for classic and skating.Grooming will continue this weekend. If skiing alone, carry a cell phone or let somebody know about your plans.

Access to Dog Trail from the Mt. McIntyre Rec Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector.

Dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.

There are several emergency supply caches located on the trail system. They are marked on the trail map. Please let us know when using any of the emergency supplies.

Day pass or membership required when skiing on any of the ski club trails. Passes are available at The Ski Base, at Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre.

Events and Program Information

Tuesday and Wednesday Jackrabbits meet at 3:30 p.m. to 5p.m. Sunday

Jackrabbits are from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A new set of Snow Fun sessions will begin Jan. 26. Register at The Ski Base.

Score ‘O' and Pizza Lunch will start at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 22.

Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club Time Trials are scheduled for Jan. 27. Start

time is 5:30 p.m. The Air North Challenge starts Feb. 1. Please register at the Ski Base.

Hours of Operation

Wax Room: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m, Saturday and Sunday from 9

a.m. to 6 p.m. Lights on from Monday to Friday from dusk until 9:30 p.m.

The Ski Base: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
