Trail report

Dog Trail, Copper to Crossroads, Selwyn's Loop, Raven, Coyote, the World Cup 10 kilometre and Powerline have been packed and tracked. Excellent for classic or skating: all lit trails are groomed and are excellent for classic and skating.

Skiing is good on all other trails and grooming will continue over the weekend.

Skiers are advised to always carry a cell phone, especially when skiing alone.

Skiers with dogs are allowed to park in the Mount McIntyre parking lot and the Dog

Trail parking lot of Hamilton Boulevard parking area. Access to Dog Trail from the

Barking Lot is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector. The Stadium is no longer open for dogs.

The Emergency Supply Caches marked are located at various locations. Check trail map. Extra caution should be taken when skiing alone in cold temperatures.

Wax Suggestions: Rex Special green or Rode Green.

Events and Program Information

Lessons and programs are offered by Aurora Ski School, Performance Ski School and The Ski Base. Call the club office for more information.

The Canada Winter Games Selection races are taking place on Dec 21, 22nd.

There are no trail closures but recreational skiers should watch for racers between 12:30 p.m. and 1 :30 p.m.

Hours of Operation

Wax Room Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lights on Monday to Friday from dusk until 9:30 p.m.

The Ski Base: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Christmas hours will be posted on the website and wax room doors.
