Mount McIntyre trail report

Despite the cooler temperatures, skiing is excellent.

By Whitehorse Star on March 3, 2011

Despite the cooler temperatures, skiing is excellent.

World Cup 10k and 5K, the 7.5K, and Olympic were groomed on Tuesday morning. Excellent for classic or skating.

All other trails were groomed recently and are in great condition for classic and skating.

The overflow on Lower Valley trail is frozen and skiable. The Haulroad is fair with some windblown sections.

The Mt Mc Ascent and Descent trails are in good condition. Snowdrifts can be expected on some trail sections.

Recommended for experienced skiers only at this time. Take extra food and extra clothing for the Descent.

Access to Dog Trail from the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector.

Dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.

Day pass or membership required when skiing on any of the ski club trails.

Passes are available at The Ski Base, at Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre.
