Trail Report

Most trails are in excellent condition and skiing will be great this weekend.

Copper to Best Chance, Dog, Selwyn's Loop, Raven, Upper and Lower Valley,

Olympic, and Logan Burn were groomed Thursday morning.

They are in excellent condition for classic and skating.

Some overflow has been reported on the Lower Valley trail. World Cup 5K and 10K, Wolf, Sarah Steele Loops, and Pierre Harvey were groomed recently and are excellent for classic or skating.

The Mt Mac Ascent trail was groomed Monday and is in excellent condition for classic. The Descent trail has some rough sections and is a shared trail.

Recommended for experienced skiers only. If skiing alone carry a cell phone or let somebody know about your plans.

Access to Dog Trail from the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector.

Dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.

There are several emergency supply caches located on the trail system. They are marked on the trail map.

Please let us know when using any of the emergency supplies.

Day pass or membership required when skiing on any of the ski club trails. Passes are available at The Ski Base, at Mt McIntyre Recreation Centre.

Events, Program Information

Tuesday and Wednesday Jackrabbits meet from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday Jackrabbits are from 1 p.m. to 2:30pm.

Coast Mountain Wax and Wine #3 is scheduled for Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.

WCCSC Time Trials is scheduled for Jan. 29. Start time is 5:30 p.m. The Air North Challenge starts at Feb. 1.

Please register at the Ski Base.

Hours of Operation

Wax Room: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lights on Monday to Friday from dusk until 9:30 p.m.

The Ski Base: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
