Most of the popular trails like Dog, Copper to Best Chance, Selwyn's Loop, the

World Cup 5 kilometre, Olympic, Raven, Coyote, Whiskey Jack, Upper and Lower Valley are in excellent condition for classic and skating.

Please remember that day passes or memberships should be worn and visible when using club trails.

The Mount Mac Ascent trail will be re-groomed today and is only recommended for experienced skiers.

The Descent trail has been used frequently by snowmobiles and caution should be taken.

Emergency Supply Caches are placed at various points on the trail system and locations are marked on the trail map. Skiers are advised to always carry a cell phone, especially when skiing alone. Skiers with dogs are allowed to park in the Mt. McIntyre parking lot and the Dog Trail parking lot off Hamilton Boulevard. The Stadium is no longer open for dogs.

Wax Suggestions: Rode Green; Special Green if it cools as forecast. Ask at The Ski Base or local sport stores, or check the Wax of the Day on the ski club's website.

Events and Program Information

Lessons and programs are offered by Aurora Ski School, Performance Ski School and The Ski Base.

Call the club office for more information.

The Tim Horton Ski'll Fest will run Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Jackrabbit program starts on Sunday at 1 p.m. Meet in the Grey Mountain Room at Mt. McIntyre Rec Centre.

Hours of Operation

Wax Room: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lights: on Monday to Friday from dusk until 9:30 p.m. The Ski Base: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
