Trail Report

Most trails have been groomed and are in excellent condition. Dog, Copper to the Haul Road, Selwyn's Loop, World Cup 5k and 10K, Olympic, Upper and Lower Valley are excellent for classic and good for skating.

The 7.5K, Wolf, Coyote, Raven and Pierre Harvey were also groomed recently and are in great condition. Sarah Steele Loops were groomed overnight (Thursday) and are now good for classic or skating.

McIntyre Ascent and Descent were groomed a week ago and are recommended for experienced skiers only.

Take extra food, clothing and water. Always watch for snowmobiles on the Descent as it is a shared trail.

There are several emergency supply caches located on the trail system which are marked on the trail map.

Additional preparation for the cold temperatures should include dressing in layers and taking a cell phone.

Please use the Dog Trail parking area off Hamilton Boulevard or access the trails at the Dog Barking lot at Mount McIntyre. Dogs are not allowed in the stadium anymore. Day pass or membership required to use Dog Trail.

Wax Suggestions: Rode Special Green.
