Mount McIntyre trail report

More day light and warmer temperatures during the day time make skiing more pleasant.

By Whitehorse Star on February 25, 2011

More day light and warmer temperatures during the day time make skiing more pleasant.

Copper to Best Chance, Dog, Raven, World Cup 5K, Raven, Coyote, Upper Valley, Monique Waterreus and Powerline were groomed this morning. Excellent for classic and skating.

Selwyn's Loop, the 7.5K, Wolf, Lynx and Lower Valley were groomed yesterday. They are in great condition.

The Mt Mc Ascent and Descent trails were groomed recently. Snowdrifts can be expected on some trail sections. Watch for snowmobiles on the Descent trail since it is a shared trail. Take extra food and extra clothing for the Descent.

Access to Dog Trail from the Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre is over the bridge and down Ketza Connector. Dogs are not allowed in the ski stadium.

Day pass or membership required when skiing on any of the ski club trails. Passes are available at The Ski Base, at Mt McIntyre Recreation Centre.
