Mount McIntyre ski report

Trail Conditions:

Dog, Sundog, Copper to Best Chance, Upper Valley, Lower Valley, Selwyn's Loop, Coyote, Raven, Lynx, World Cup 10K, Olympic, the Stadium and the lit trails were groomed Thursday morning. 7.5K, Powerline and Raven were groomed Thursday night. All are excellent for classic and skating.

Sarah Steele loops are good for classic.

McIntyre Ascent/Descent are reported to be in good condition with several centimetres of snow cover. Recommended for experienced skiers only.

Watch for snowmobiles on the Descent since it is a shared trail.

Trail lights are on from dusk to 9:30 p.m. on weeknights.

Snowshoers are welcome to use the ski trails but must purchase a membership or day pass.

Safety reminders:

  • Carry a cell phone and let somebody know where you are skiing.

  • Be prepared - carry matches, safety blanket, and hand warmers.

  • Take a map and know where you are - be familiar with the emergency supply caches on the trails.
