Mikes Tub and Shower wins offensive U-7 soccer game

Mikes Tub and Shower got off to a quick start on Tuesday

Mikes Tub and Shower got off to a quick start on Tuesday, taking an early two goal lead thanks to Jamie Freedman -Phillips and Aaron Rich in the team's game against Jacobs Industries in the U-7 Soccer League.

Not to be outdone, Jacobs Industries replied with a pair of goals of its own from Ewan Halliday and Aaron Rich, who scored just before half time with a fantastic free kick in the top corner of the net.


Mikes Tub and Shower 10, Jacobs Industries 5

Halliday once again tied up the game for Jacobs Industries at 3-3. Halliday finished the game with three goals.

Aaron Rich helped put the game out of reach for Mikes Tub and Shower, scoring three goals, while Freedman-Phillips added another goal of his own.

Montana Dawson also scored for Mikes Tub and Shower.


DHL 3, Pacific Northwest Moving 2

DHL scorers included Amy Vanderkley, Logan Langenhan and Kyle Berlmier, while the team's MVP was Carter Clagget.

Pacific Northwest Moving two goals were put in by Sam Fleming and Seth Carey. Its MVP was Shane Orban.


Pelly Construction 3, The Soccer Shoppe 1

Both teams traded goals at the start of the contest with Jake Charlton netting one for Pelly Construction and Sean Easton replying with a goal for The Soccer Shoppe.

Peyton Twardochleb restored Pelly's lead in the second half and team MVP Dominic Cheeseman helped added to the team's lead with a goal of his own. The MVP for the Soccer Shoppe was Easton.


U-9 Soccer League: Jan. 20

Purolator Courier 3, Blindheim Trucking 2

Purolator goals came thanks to Skylar Bryant, Will Klassen and Ethan Vanderklay, while the team's MVP was Aurora Balsillie.

Both Blindheim goals were thanks to Harrison Ullrich and the team's MVP was Gabriel Madon.


U-16 Soccer League: Jan. 20

Woodhouse Business Consulting 6, Locksmith Services 5

Robbie Bourd carried the offensive load for Woodhouse Business Consulting. After the conclusion of the game's two halfs, Bourd had accumulated an impressive total of five goals, while the team's remaining scorer was Adam Torgerson. Woodhouse Business Consulting's MVP was Zain Syed.

Locksmith's MVP was Joaquin McWatters, who scored four goals and Alex Ordonez netted the remaining goal.
