Canada Flooring remains in top spot, grabbing 19 points for a total of 136, while Vandelay Systems is in third, collecting 20 points for a total of 121. Yukon Honda was the best team this week, taking home 22 points, but is still in the basement with a total of 100, behind Pacific Northwest moving. Pacific Northwest had the bye this week and sits in fourth place with a total of 112.
Winning their matches for Honda were Denis Godin, Haily Thomson and Shaun Stinson. Godin swept Vandelay Systems' Steven Harlow in three games while Thomson ousted Erin Linklater in three straight. Stinson won his match over Logan Small by default.
Scott Meredith, Logan Godin and Kair Knorr replied for Vandelay. Meredith downed Tamara Matechuk in three straight games while Godin took care of Bradan Brickner in three. Knorr needed five games to beat Zoe Walker.
David Lister, Sophia Flather and Erik Jacobsen were victorious for MicroAge. Lister took his match against Canada Flooring's Rory Gibson by default while Flather defeated Jeanette Carney in three straight games. Jacobsen swept Jessica Borgford in three.
Kwinten Van-Gassen, Gavin Nyland and Robert McMynn picked up the big points for Canada Flooring. Van-Gassen ousted Eric Fekete in three games while Nylund claimed victory over Logan Bull by default. McMynn beat Ian March in three straight.
Thursday Night Squash League
There was a change atop the leaderboard Thursday, as Well Read Books and Northwestel High Speed Internet dominated the squash action.
Well Read Books grabbed 20 points for a total of 98, taking over top spot in the overall standings, while Northwestel also picked up 20 points, jumping from fourth to second place with a total of 91. Kumon Learning remains in third with a total of 84 points, despite collecting just 12 last week. Whitehorse Travel had the bye this week, falling from first to fourth overall with a total of 82 points.
There was no change in the bottom half of the standings. Northern Lights Optometry posted 18 points for a total of 79, which was good enough for fifth spot, while Sterling Insurance took home 11 points for a total of 69. High Country Inn remained in the basement, claiming just nine points for a total of 59.
Winning their matches for Well Read Books were Eric Irvine, Alan McDermott and Chris Ziegler. Irvine swept Sterling's Patti Flather in three games while McDermott needed five games to beat Logan Small, who was filling in for Shauna Tompkins. Ziegler ousted Adam MacCannell in four.
Therese Aberson won the lone match for Sterling. Aberson fought Angela Gayle, who was subbing for Aiza Gomez, for five games before emerging with the win.
Tracy Pittman, Shaun Stinson and Mark Beese were victorious for Northwestel. Pittman defeated High Country's Sherri Wright in five games while Stinson took care of Stephen Mills in five. Beese whipped Amberley Wolfe in three straight games.
Peter Boniface was the lone victor for the Inn. Boniface sent Cameron Trayner home after four games.
Al Ohlin, Matt Brown and Karen Clyde picke dup the big points for Northern Lights Optometry. Ohlin ousted Kumon's Rachelle Zrall in five games while Brown downed Lara Lewis in four. Clyde swept Shannon Tessier in three games.
Judy Ratcliffe won the lone match for Kumon. Ratcliff got rid of Jen Meurer in three straight games.
