Mic Mac Bantam Mustangs out-score Yukon Inn in recreational hockey game

It was a high scoring affair on Tuesday between the Mic Mac Bantam Mustangs and Yukon Inn in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division.

It was a high scoring affair on Tuesday between the Mic Mac Bantam Mustangs and Yukon Inn in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division.

Thanks to a few goals in the final 10 minutes, the Mustangs went on to win the high scoring affair 11-7.


Mic Mac Bantam Mustangs 11, Yukon Inn 7

Gibson Pearson racked up the points for the Mustangs, scoring four goals and adding one assist.

Brett Roulston also played very well, scoring a hat trick and contributing two assists.

Tyson Glass and Scott Meredith each scored twice, while Mike Arnold finished with three assists.

Other point producers on the Bantam Mustangs included Tyrell Hope and Matthew McCarthy, who finished with two assists, while Mitch Read contributed one assist.

Joe Becket and David Galbrith each scored twice for Yukon Inn.

The team's remaining scorers included Simon Sheridan, Will Beckett and Lars Jessup.


Y.E.S. Jets 7, Summit Savages 1

The Y.E.S. Jets had seven different scorers in the victory, which included Adam Schellenberg, who finished with the most points with one goal and three assists.

Tim Arnholtz, Kris King, Daryl Froese, Jeremiah Kitchen and Jonathan Osborne each finished with one goal and one assist.

The team's remaining scorer was Khris Day, while Thomas Corcoran and Eliot Kamihecki contributed one assist.

Glenn Smith netted the lone goal for the Summit Savages, which was assisted by Aren Coats and Mark Bowen.
