The 15th annual Marsh Lake Classic Cross Country Ski Loppet was run last weekend.

Despite the conflicts with the Yukon Quest and Frostbite Music Festival and a chilly Saturday morning, 134 skiers took on the course.

The results:

Fastest 20k

Male: Knute Johnsgaard at 1 hour, 10 minutes, 49 seconds.

Female: Pippa Lawson at 1h 30m 12s.

Captain Fun Award (in honour of Peter Milner): Paul Sparling.

Youngest Skier Award: Lucas Taggart-Cox.

Organizers also collected a box of toques, mitts and gloves to donate to the Blood Ties Four Directions Centre for its harm reduction program.
