A couple of points is all that separates MacKay LLP from joining three other teams tied for second place.

After five weeks of play, the Mountain View Mens' Commercial Golf League team has accumulated 28 points, which is good enough for sole possession of first place in the Palmer Division.

This year's standings are particularly close in the Palmer Division, which currently has 11 teams with 20 or more points.

MacKay LLP benefitted from eight points in last week's competition, which featured a stroke play format.

This week's format is a scramble.

The mens' commercial league is played every Thursday, starting between 4:40 p.m. and 6:28 p.m.

The league follows a schedule using several formats including skins, team match play, stroke play, team scramble.

Teams are assembled by the league and sponsored by local commercial businesses. Each group uses a schedule posted by league at beginning of season.
