Macdonald’s four goals lead Quest Computers to win

Danny Macdonald struck for four goals Saturday, leading Quest Computers to a 7-5 win.
Joe Morrison rounded off a barnstorming performance with his first goal of the season, as Quest Computers tromped over Klondike Business Solutions in over-35 soccer action at the Canada Games Centre.
Quest managed to erase an early two-goal deficit to topple a depleted KBS side, with Macdonald logging a mixed bag of a performance where he could have had 10 goals but had to settle for four. Other scorers for Quest were Rob Florkiewicz and Andy Todd.
Replying for KBS were David Rayo (2), hotshot Pierre-Luc Lafrance (2) and a thunderbolt from skipper Rich Potter.
In the early game, Leonard Linklater broadcasted his talents with two goals for Pepsi as they tied 3-3 with Yukon Brewing.
Pepsi was pleased that Gord Barker returned to form with a trademark goal, but even he couldn’t stop the Yukon Brew juggernaut from registering a point. Brew played some pretty neat soccer, embarrassing keeper George Maratos with some inventive shots.
James McCullough, Guliano Rayo and Armand Daneliuc all tallied.
