Livingston notches two for Wal-Mart

Keenan Livingston led Wal-Mart with a pair of goals, one of them on the power-play, as his team edged Klondike Motors 3-2 in Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association Novice Division action Sunday.

Keenan Livingston led Wal-Mart with a pair of goals, one of them on the power-play, as his team edged Klondike Motors 3-2 in Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association Novice Division action Sunday.

Ben McClelland also found the back of the net for Wal-Mart while Jacob Wyres and Matthew Butler each picked up an assist.

Kaine Comin and Caleb Marsh hit the twine for the car company, assisted by Tyler Egglestone.

The MVP for Wal-Mart was Livingston while the MVP for Klondike was Comin.

In the other novice game Sunday, it was:

Pizza Hut 2

Yukon Appliance/Elks 2

Trenton Dupont and Jake Wykes supplied the offence for Pizza Hut as they tied Yukon Appliance/Elks.

Cole Wykes collected an assist for Pizza Hut.

Ryan Edwards and Jeramy Gagne replied for Yukon Appliance.

The MVP for the pizza crew was Matthew Cooper while the MVP for Elks was Victoria Edwards.

Pee Wee Division

Powerade 5

Yukon Office Supply 4

Ben Pereira potted a pair of goals for Powerade as they narrowly defeated Yukon Office Supply.

Chelsea Goodman, Kurt Spenner and Brandon Langenham contributed additional goals for Powerade.

Auston Turner-Davis netted two goals and an assist for YOS. Bradley Koprowsky chipped in a goal and an assist while Chris Fisher also scored. Gina Charlie and Tyler Wiens each claimed one helper.

Atom Mustangs 12

Yellow Cab 2

The scoring was not provided for the Atom Mustangs as they dominated Yellow Cab.

Mike Arnold and Colin Kabanak lit the lamp for the cab company, assisted by Scott Peterson and Mason Gray.
