Late goal helps Yukon Inn Boiler Room tie Mustangs in rec hockey league

Kinden Kosick was a real equalizer for Yukon Inn Boiler Room Tuesday in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League B division.

Both Kosick's goals, including his second with fewer than two minutes left on the clock, helped the team draw even with the Mic Mac Bantam Mustangs. The final score was 8-8.

Other multiple goal scorers on Yukon Inn Boiler Room included Will Beckett, who finished with two goals and one assist.

The team's remaining scorers included Joe Beckett, Matt Neumann, Ray O'Brien and Simon Sheridan.

Tyrell Hope led all Mustangs in scoring, netting three goals, while Brett Roulston also played well, finishing with two goals.

Mike Arnold, Michael Hare and Gibson Pearson each chipped in one goal.

The Mustangs had 30 shots on net, while Yukon Inn Boiler Room had 35.

Narrow Gauge is currently in first place in the rec. league's B division with 21 wins, five losses and five ties.

Yukon Inn Boiler Room currently trails the Bantam Mustangs by six points.

The Mustangs are in sixth place with 10 wins and Yukon Inn Boiler Room has seven wins.

With 40 goals and 31 assists, Kwanlin Kanucks player Harley Bowe is the B division's leading points scorer, while teammate Shawn Kolak sits in second with 69 points.
