Harley Bowe's third goal was the difference maker for the Kwanlin Kanucks

Harley Bowe's third goal was the difference maker for the Kwanlin Kanucks in Saturday's Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League victory over Narrow Gauge Contracting.

With 39 seconds left on the clock, Bowe scored a hat trick, giving his team a 7-6 lead, which ended up being the final.

Other scorers for the Kanucks included Gus Morberg, who finished with two, while fellow teammates James Dawson and Kevin Smith each contributed one goal.

Durand Cornett led Narrow Gauge in scoring, sending two pucks into the back of the net. The team's remaining scorers were Fletcher De Graff, Ryan Sylvestre, Alex Vatour and Dan MacDonald.


Y.E.S. Jets 8, Yukon Inn 4

Daniel Cletheroe scored the Jets first two goals and added two more before the game was over.

Other Y.E.S. goal contributors included Mike Sage, Kristian King, Darcy Carlick and Timothy Amholz.

Darryl Froese finished with two assists in the win.

Lars Jessup netted two goals for Yukon Inn, while Joe Beckett and Simon Seridan scored the team's remaining two.

Hugh Boyle had one assist for Yukon Inn.
