Large turnout for Senior Games

More than 130 athletes competed in the Yukon Senior Games this past weekend, in 12 sports and activities.

More than 130 athletes competed in the Yukon Senior Games this past weekend, in 12 sports and activities.

Golf saw the largest turnout for the Games with 41 athletes teeing off, while cribbage had the second-highest with 36.

That was followed by bowling (5-pin) with 24, floor curling with 20, Whist with 16, Bocce with 10, shuffleboard with 10, carpet bowling with 10, horseshoes with eight, swimming with seven, predicted walk with seven and 8-Ball with two. Here are the results:
