Both teams earned 19 points each on Thursday evening over their espective challengers.
Kumon downed Underhill 19-8 in Thursday's match-up to keep the team struggling to break a fifth place tie.
For Kumon, Mustafa Syed stood in for Will Parker where he earned five points in a 3-1 win over Underhill's Coleman Newell.
Newell finished the match with two to start off his team's point haul.
Eric Bardin earned six points for Kumon in a 3-0 win in a match-up with Brett Hannigan, who stood in for Logan Small of Underhill.
Michael Knudson put a black mark on Kumon's perfect record for the evening when standing in for Marie Maratos, by earning a 3-2 win over substitute Kamran Idress.
The match see-sawed back and forth, taking the full five games to determine the winner, with Knudson ultimately earning five points, and Idress coming away with two.
Kelly Panchyshyn earned six points for Kumon to finish up the points tally in a 3-1 victory over Graydon McDonnell's sub (full name not reported).
Kumon Learning earned 19 points and Underhill came away with eight.
The Electrical Shop topped Northern Lights Optometry 19-8 in their match-up Thursday.
Zain Syed had the only victory for Northern Lights, earning a 6-1 win over Andrew Zinck. Syed earned six points to Zinck's two.
The remaining three match-ups went to the Electrical Shop. David Buckler beat Kevin Brisson, who subbed for Northern Light's Patti Flather 6-0; Joanne Heyes earned six points in a 3-0 win over Adrienne Marsh who took home a point for her team, and Bryan Mancyniuk was the winner 3-0 over Amy Leach to earn five points. Leach earned a point for the match.
Uniglobe Travel earned a lop-sided win over Sterling Insurance.
Uniglobe won every one of their four match-ups to down Sterling.
The night started off with Emilie Herdes of Uniglobe battling hard against Mark Beese to earn her six points. The game flip-flopped with Beese winning the second game.
Herdes regained control in the third set and sent Beese packing with two points for the match.
Shahid Syed had another tough match for Uniglobe against Colin MacKenzie. Syed lost the first two sets and came back in the third to earn six points for his team. MacKenzie came away with two points for the match.
Jada Kwok was also beaten in her first match against Sterling's Randi Cave, only to come back in the second and be beaten again in the third. The match went right to the final five sets where Kwok finally earned her six points. Cave took home three for her effort.
The final match was between two substitute players, Ehsan Idress and Mya Cordon. Idress earned the win in a 3-1 victory for five points, while Cordon earned one.
Uniglobe's final tally was 23 points for the night, and Sterling's was nine.

Ketza continues to dominate the Tuesday night squash league, increasing their lead of 297 to 30 points over Assante.
This past Tuesday, Ketza had a tie match-up with School of Hard Knocks, getting the upper hand 15-12.
Sam Penner of Ketza was downed by Chris Toleman 3-1 despite making a late win in the third set. He earned two points, while Toleman came away with six.
Hard Knocks' Blaine Tessier earned six points in a 3-0 blank-out win of Steve Fecteau, who won a point for his team.
Ketza kicked things up for their final two matches against substitute players, with Tyler Martin and Kenji Tatsumi both winning 3-0 to earn six points apiece against Brent Hannigan and Tim Carroll.
Assante was down by only a point against North Star Mini Storage. Each team took two match-ups each.
Assante substitute Phil Jackson earned five points in a 3-1 win over Lars Johanson, who took two points away for his team.
Julien Revel earned six points in a 3-0 win for Assante over sub Mark Tubman, who was unable to snag any points for his team.
Glen Rudman of North Star had a 3-0 victory over sub Emilie Herdes to turn the tables on Assante. Rudman earned six points, while Herdes earned none.
Jim Gilpin stole six points in his match-up against sub Patrick Gardiner who earned two points. The match was hard fought by both, with the two players splitting the first four sets, with Gilpin earning the final win in the fifth set.
North Star Mini Storage ended with 14 points over Assante's 13.
Pizza Hut overtook Yukon Brewing 15-7 in their match-up Tuesday night, with only Cam Grandy securing a win for Yukon Brewing.
Jeff Seaman of Pizza Hut and Grayson Peters was a default no-score game.
Doug Thorseth and Russel Banford of Pizza Hut earned six points apiece against their opponents Eric Bardin and Gord Starko.
Tyler Nesgaard, subbing for Cam Grandy from Yukon Brewing, got a 3-2 win over Chris Cullingham, after his opponent secured the first set. The match went the full five games to decide the winner.
