The territory's Team of the Year wrapped up their road trip schedule with two wins and three losses in Lloydminster, Alta. last weekend.

The Yukon's Team Koltun was competing in the Boundary Ford Curling Classic.

Sarah Koltun's women's rink got off to a good start, beating Alberta's Deanne Nichol 7-6 in an extra end Friday, before losing their second game 10-6 to eventual champion Amber Holland from Saskatchewan.

Team Koltun would lose their third game 6-4 to Chana Martineau's Alberta rink, before collecting their second win 7-5 over Edmonton's Nicky Kaufman.

A 9-4 loss to Leslie Rogers of Alberta saw Koltun's rink bounced from the tournament.

Despite the losing record, the team remains confident heading into the territorial women's and junior playdowns this month.

"Things are shaping up nicely,” said head coach Lindsay Moldowan.

"They've been able to play in some really competitive games in all of the bonspiels they've been in up until this point and it's really helped them prepare for their upcoming playdowns.”
