Knights of Columbus, Tri Omni capture Pinoy Basketball League titles

After clinching a 96-93 victory over Estrada & Tan

After clinching a 96-93 victory over Estrada & Tan to win their best-of-three series final, the Knights of Columbus claimed the Yukon Pinoy Basketball League 35 and Over Championship.

The Knights of Columbus’ Noel Pagobo and David Mindanao both recorded a double-double in the game with 26 points and 17 rebounds (Pagobo) and 47 points and 16 rebounds (Mindanao). Pagobo was also named the final’s MVP.

The Season MVP was awarded to Emman New.

The Under 35 division was won by Tri Omni Property Management, which beat Kit’s Kitchen 106-96 in the Game 3 final.

Triomni’s Rj Siosan was the game’s top scorer, recording 45 points in the final.

Kit’s Kitchen’s Aaron Diaz and Christian Robas recorded double-doubles in the late game.

Ian New was awarded the Finals MVP, while the Season MVP went to Siosan.

The Sportsmanship Award went to Bryan Hermosa, while Most Improved Player was awarded to both Michael Trinidad and Josh Patrick Rumbaoa.
