Kilrich wins close playoff game in oldtimers league

Three scorers helped Kilrich maintain its unbeaten streak in the 2008/09 Whitehorse Oldtimers League playoffs.

Three scorers helped Kilrich maintain its unbeaten streak in the 2008/09 Whitehorse Oldtimers League playoffs.

On Thursday, the team won a close playoff battle against Edgewater Hotel by a 3-2 score.


Kilrich 3, Edgewater Hotel 2

Pat Michael, Mike Blower and Bob Allison each scored for Kilirch.

Fellow teammates John Skilnyk, Rob Thompson, Peter Grundmanis, Daryl Berube and Rick Moses each finished with one assist in the team's win.

Brent Cooper was leading point producer on Edgewater Hotel, finishing with one goal and one assist, while Martin O'Hagan was the remaining scorer on the team. Gord Peterson recorded one assist in the loss.


Medicine Chest 2, Performance Centre Turbos 1

Lorne Burnett and Pat Campbell each scored for Medicine Chest, while Gord Kuchler netted the lone goal for Performance Centre Tubos.

Bernie Adilman and Bob Candow assisted on the goal for Performance Centre Tubos.
