However, a late goal in the opening frame, broke open the floodgates for Kilrich, which added three more to its total in the second, winning 4-0.

Kilrich benefited from balanced scoring and had four different players finish with a goal.
Andy McLeod and Mike Blower led the game in points, each scoring a goal and adding one assist.
John Pereira and Mike Hawkins also scored for Kilrich, while Bob Allison, Chris McNutt and Roger Lockwood each contributed one assist.
Medicine Chest 7, Klondyke Dental Molars 4
What looked like it would be a low scoring affair, turned into a real barnburner in the second frame of Medicine Chest's game against Klondyke Dental Molars.
Adam Green scored the first goal for Dental Molars nearing the halfway point of the opening period.
However, Medicine Chest answered back less than seven minutes later netting one of its own. Lorne Burnett scored the lone first period goal for Medicine Chest.
Medicine Chest took control of the game in the second frame, scoring three goals in less than six minutes.
Mark Pike got the ball rolling for Medicine Chest, while the team's other second period goal scorers included Pat Campbell, who had four in total, and Dean McKay.
Bill Bohmer finished with the most assists in the game, setting up three goals, while Dennis Connelley had a pair of helpers.
Rob Millar netted the first two Dental Molars' goals in the second period. Millar scored the first one at 4:54, before netting the second at 3:17.
Green put in the team's final goal, scored at 1:07.
Mike Kenny, Ron Daub, Laurie Malo and Murray Arsenaut all finished with one assist for the Dental Molars.
Firth Rangers 4, Yukon Inn 1
Four separate players got in on the scoring for the Firth Rangers. Ed van Randen, Jeff Huntson, Gary Boyd and Carl Burgess each had a goal in Firth's win.
Grant Redfern scored the lone Yukon Inn goal, which was assisted by Kevin Neufeld.
Edgewater Hotel 5, AON Flames 4
Brent Cooper was an instrumental part of Edgewater Hotel's one goal victory over the AON Flames. Cooper finished the game with a hat trick and assisted in the one goal he didn't score.
Wayne Vallevand also scored for the Hotel.
Jeff Jensen, Eric von Flotow, Charles Broadhagen and Dave White each scored for AON.
