Kilrich beats Firth to secure 16th win

Kilrich beat the Firth Rangers 3-1 in oldtimer hockey action last night, improving to 16-0-2.

Kilrich beat the Firth Rangers 3-1 in oldtimer hockey action last night, improving to 16-0-2.

Trevor Hale, George Harvey and Daryl Berube each beat Rangers goalie Scott Casselman, while Jason Cunning was the lone Ranger to strike.

In other action, Yukon Inn beat the AON Flames 5-3 with five different players lighting the lamp.

The loss sees the Flames tied with EDI for last in the league standings.

On Wednesday, EDI edged the Klondyke Dental Molars 3-2 thanks to a late goal by centre Mark Pike.

Finally, Medicine Chest beat Air North 4-3 courtesy of a three-point performance – including two goals – by Jeff O’Farrell.
