Kilrich and Remax battle it out to 7-7 draw in U-15 Soccer League game

Owen Hedstrom-Langford and Nigel Sinclair-Eckert carried the offensive load for Kilrich Industries on Sunday in the U-15 Soccer League.

Both players sent three balls to the back of the net in Kilrich's 7-7 tie against Remax.


Kilrich Industries 7, Remax 7

Takoa Reid put in Kilrich's remaining goal, while Geena Charlie was named as team MVP.

Remax's leading goal scorers were Josh Hansen and Samus Bhuller, who each scored twice.

Cody Lessard, Curtis Hill and Adam Torgerson also scored, while Ella Parker was named as Remax's MVP.


Fountain Tire 6, Physio Plus 3

Scoring for Fountain Tire was Graeme Mainer Pearson, Scott Peterson, Matthew Pollard and Jessie Cebuliak, who finished with a hat trick.

The team's MVP was Travis Banks.

Gage Preece, Emily Wilson and Alejandro Peters each scored a goal for Physio Plus, while the team's MVP was Heather Clark.


U-13 Soccer: May 28

Bilsten Creek 3, Sportslife 2

Kyle Wallace and Stephanie Avery of Sportslife opened a two nothing lead over Bilsten Creek Tree Service Thursday in the U-13 Soccer League.

However, early in the second half Bilsten Creek goalie made an exciting coast to coast dribble to score the opening goal for his team.

Additional goals then came from Etienne Geoffroy and Kieran Halliday for a 3-2 Bilsten Creek victory.

Team MVPs were Rachel Kinvig, and Nicole Lazeo-Fairman for Sportslife and Bilsten Creek respectively.


U-8 Soccer: May 28

Zackary Wirth-Richard earned MVP honours for DHL Express, while Jerico Hoversland was named as its MIP (Most Important Player)


Paintball Yukon

Sean Easton finished the game as Paintball Yukon's MVP, while fellow teammate Jamie Bhullar was named MIP.


Jacobs Industries

Oscar Sawicki played a stellar game or Jacob's Industries and won its MVP honours, while Seth Carey also was one of the team starts and was named as MIP.


U-11 Soccer: May 27 Results

Property Guys 4, Austring, Fendrick, Fairman & Parkkari 2

There were plenty of chances at both ends of the field in Wednesday's contest.

Scoring for Property Guys were Simon Cash, Matthew Butler and MacKenzie Shaw, who chipped in two.

Cash was named as the team's MVP.

Ryan MacDonald and Megan Banks each scored for Austring, Fendrick, Fairman & Parkkari, while the team's MVP was Izaak Lazeo-Fairman.
