Kilrich and Edgewater Hotel still perfect in Oldtimers Hockey League playoff action

Identical scores were posted in the two Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey Games Thursday night at Takhini Arena.

Identical scores were posted in the two Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey Games Thursday night at Takhini Arena.

Thanks to a 4-3 win, both Kilrich and Edgewater Hotel have perfect 2-0 records in this year's playoffs.


Kilrich 4, Performance Centre Turbos 3

Four separate scorers highlighted Kilrich's goal list, including Mike Blower, Rob Thompson, Rick Moses and John Skilnyk.

Jim Giczi, Bernie Adilman and Jason Cunning each scored for Performance Centre Turbos.


Edgewater Hotel 4, Medicine Chest 3

Shelby Workman put two pucks in the net for Edgewater Hotel, scoring the team's first and last goal.

Wayne Vallevand and Robert McLeod also helped out on the scoring front in the win.

Robert Bolton, Dave Bakica and Ken Vickerman each scored for Medicine Chest.

As a result of the Kilrich/Northerm Yukon Native Hockey Tournament, the oldtimers' playoffs won't resume until Wednesday.
