Kanucks beat Mustangs 7-6 in recreational hockey league

A last minute goal by Shawn Kolak won the game for the Kwanlin Kanucks over the Bantam Mustangs Tuesday in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division.

A last minute goal by Shawn Kolak won the game for the Kwanlin Kanucks over the Bantam Mustangs Tuesday in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League's B division.


Kwanlin Kanucks 7, Bantam Mustangs 6

Kolak's last minute heroics earned him a hat trick in the game against the Mustangs, while other goal scorers on the Kanucks included Harley Bowe, Gus Morberg and Tyler Smith.

Gibson Pearson and Brayden Kulych led all goal scorers on the Mustangs with two goals, while other scorers included Michael Hare and Devaughn Davies.


Castle Rock 13, Puckers/Trappers 6

Mitch Malchow and Jeff O'Farrell each scored three goals for Castle Rock, while John Van Landen, Ken Olson and Landan Kulych each contributed two goals.

Kristian King and Darrell Carlick notched two goals for the Puckers/Trappers, while Eliot Laminecki and Ryan Osborne each scored once.
