A shutout by Jeff Kalles led the Yukon Inn as it deflated Medicine Chest's league-leading ways during Whitehorse Oldtimer Hockey League action Sunday.

Yukon Inn edged the Chest 1-0 as John Pereira scored the lone marker with 5:17 remaining in the first period, on assists from Dennis Connelly and Grant Lyons.

Edgewater Hotel 3, Kilrich 1

In the only other oldtimer action Sunday, Guy Morgan notched the eventual game winner for the Edgewater Hotel with 44 seconds remaining in the first period.

Morley Lessard set the pace for Edgewater with the club's first goal just over a minute into the contest, and Dean Hassard put the win on ice with the third goal coming less two minutes into the second period.

Mike Kenney provided Kilrich's lone goal with 5:01 to play in the first.

In other oldtimer action Sunday it was Firth 9, Klondyke Dental Molars 2, and Whitehorse Performance Centre 7, Aon 3.
