Johnstone records six as BP doubles Cinderwood
Derek Johnstone led Boston Pizza with three goals and three assists as his team stuffed the Cinderwood Canucks 8-4 in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League action Thursday.

Mike Young added a pair of goals for BP while Dean Mastrangelo picked up a goal and two assists. Lance Brown and Brian Curial each posted a goal and an assist while Ron Servatius finished with four helpers. Mike Nikon and goaltender Brian Power each had one assist.
Ben Wondga, Kirk Gale and Frank Aucoin replied for Cinderwood, each netting a goal and an assist. Martin Lawrie also found the back of the net while Jeff O'Farrell was credited with two assists. Mark King, Ian Kuster and Randy Merkel each claimed one helper.

AJ Beacon, Marr Ordish and Peter Mather each tacked on a goal and an assist for A&A while Kal Alwarid had two assists. Blaine Monahan, Dave Sembsmoen, Marcel (no last name given) and goalie Mike Buxton-Carr were each awarded one helper.
Logan Freese potted a pair of goals for Narrow Gauge while Jon Preston and Byron Gilday each added a goal and an assist. Dan Macdonald and Yves Paradis also hit the twine while Alex Vautour recorded three assists and Adrian Bergman had two helpers. George Maratos, James Maltby, Philip Harry and Matt Hall each finished with one assist.

Eric Hendricks posted a hat trick for the Yukon Appliances Blues as they dethroned the Kopper Kings.
Cary Goodman and Clayton Thomas also chipped in goals for the Blues.

Ed Vanderkley led the Kluane Drillers with two goals and two assists as they overpowered Narrow Gauge Contracting.
Tyler Murray, Andrew Zinck and Mike Gau tacked on two goals apiece for the Drillers while Duane Shewfelt also scored.
Adrian Bergman and Byron Gilday provided the offence for Narrow Gauge.
