The game remained scoreless up until 7:24 remaining in the final frame when Sean McAskie gave Yukon Inn the go ahead goal, with an assist going to Brian Boorse.
Yukon Inn 2, Firth Rangers 0
Steve Arrell notched his first-ever goal in the Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League to help secure the 2-0 victory for Yukon Inn.

Scorers for Medicine Chest included Dave Bakica, Bill Bohmer and Greg Bull.
Rob Miller and Adam Green were the two goal scorers for Klondyke Dental Molars.
Edgewater Hotel 7, Aon Flames 3
Terry Berquist and Morley Lessard each finished with two goals for Edgewater Hotel, while other scorers on the team included Brent Stokes, Shelby Workman and Derek Torgerson.
Brent Cooper also played a great game for Edgewater Hotel, finishing with four assists.
Edgewater led 4-2 after the first period of play.
Tony Clennett finished with the most points for the Flames, scoring a goal an adding one assist, while the team's other goal producers were Wade Harrison and Blaine Demchuk.
Performance Centre Turbos 3, Kilrich 2
Rick Moses scored the first goal of the game to give Kilrich the 1-0 lead. Dan Cornett answered back for the Turbos to even the contest up at 1-1.
The Turbos didn't let up and with only one second remaining in the first period Glen Heinbigner gave Performance Centre the 2-1 lead.
Bernie Adilman scored for the Turbos in the second period and Joel Witten notched one more goal for Kilrich in the 3-2 loss.
