Jay Glass scores four goals as Sportspage crushes the Mighty Wash Suds 12-4

Jay Glass made his return to the Sportspage lineup count, notching four goals to lead the Canucks over the Mighty Wash Suds 12-4 in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League action Tuesday.

Jay Glass made his return to the Sportspage lineup count, notching four goals to lead the Canucks over the Mighty Wash Suds 12-4 in Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League action Tuesday.

Darrell Sturko added three goals and five assists for the Canucks while Bobby Park and Joey Mason each had a goal and four helpers. Doug Cook netted a goal and added two assists while Randy Merkel had a goal and one helper. Brent Cooper also scored for Sportspage. Larry Park finished with three assists.

Charles Illsley led Mighty Wash with two goals and an assist. Ian Kuster added a goal and two assists while Lance Brown scored one. Dean Mastrangelo and Curt Campbell each recorded an assist.

In other recreational hockey games Tuesday, it was:

Sports North 4

Environmental Dynamics 4

Rick Olson had two goals for Sports North as they skated to a tie with Environmental Dynamics.

Mike O'Connor added a goal and an assist for Sports North while Terry Jackson also scored. Alain Desrochers finished with two assists while Ruben Bicudo, Dustin Slonski and Terry Slonski each had one helper.

Lennie Charlie, Dave Richard, Andy Connors and Dan Morner replied for EDI with a goal apiece. Marc Champagne, Adam Green and Jesse Gilday each had an assist.

Patriots 10

DHL Devils 6

Adrian Bergman and John Hudgin each recorded a hat trick for the Patriots as they downed the DHL Devils.

Bryn Battersby added two goals for the Patriots while Harold Desmarais and Jason Ruttle also scored.

Ryan Gleason had four goals for the Devils. George Maratos and Kevin Smith each popped in one.
