A "jam”-packed, fun-filled weekend is on the horizon for the Whitehorse Women's Hockey Association.

The fifth annual Jamboree tournament will be held at Takhini Arena Nov. 29 and 30. Four teams will face off for the title.

"It is the only tournament outside our regular league, which gives an opportunity for other women to play who may not have joined the league,” league secretary Sarah Todd explained.

The weekend included a series of games but also a goofy take on a skills competition, with events such as the Superman Slide, Hells Bells, the Bra Toss, and others. The competition will begin at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

The championship final is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. Saturday. Spectators are encouraged to attend.
