Intersport scores six in U-9 Soccer League win against Industrial Electrical
On Wednesday, the Yukon News tasted victory for the first time this season in the U-10 Soccer League.
Intersport overpowered Industrial Electric, winning an offensive gem Thursday in the U-9 Soccer League. Both squads combined for 10 goals, however Intersport, thanks to four separate scorers went on to a 6-4 victory.
Intersport 6, Industrial Electrical
Ewan Halliday and Angus Clarkeeach sent two goals into the back of thenet, while the remaining Intersport scorers were Lukas Jirousek and Tyler Milton. The team's MVP was Bradley Martin.Industrial Electrical can thank Harrison Ullrich for half of its goal total on Thursday, while the rest of the team's offensive contributors included Leonardo Bardubitzki and Breanna Stagg. Leonardo Bardubitzki was named as Industrial Electrical's MVP.
Peak Fitness 5, La Tierra Farm 1
Balanced scoring went along way for Peak Fitness in its game against LaTierra Farm on Thursday. The group had four scorers, including Simon Kishchuk, who finished with two goals. The remaining scorers on Peak Fitness were Matthias Hoenisch, Dylan Kindervater and Samatha Ng. Peak Fitness' player of the game was Julian Beairsto. Curtis Cruz Goodman was the lone goal scorer for La Tierra Farm and Noah Demchuk was named as the team's player of the game.

On Wednesday, the Yukon News tasted victory for the first time this season in the U-10 Soccer League.The News' goal providers included Ryan Hindson and John Dagostin, who scored twice. Other notable players included Claire Mcleod Smith and Katarina Wirth, who both were rock solid on the defensive end of the field. goalies Logan Morris and Anthony Steels were also on top of their game. The News' MVP was Ashley Harris.
Ryan Troke scored for Underhill, but the team had many other chances throughout both halves. Underhill's MVP was goalkeeper Hannah Deuling, who had an outstanding game.
Subway 1,Home Sweet Home Baking 1
It was an intense game between Subway and Home Sweet Home Baking that ended in a 1-1 tie. Home Sweet Home Baking's MVP was Donovon Itsi, who played incredible defence and was quick to respond on the field in all positions. Jordan Runions scored the team's only goal with assistance from Mallory Hanson. Subway's MVP was Tyler Mac-Dougall, who was the only scorer with assists from Gabriel Nadon and Joe Stokes
Midnight Sun Alpacas 1, Murraya Dental 0
Lots of players were absent, but those who could come played very hard and in the end Midnight Sun Alpacas edged Murraya Dental 1-0. Mathias Clyde-Lien scored the lone goal, and Sarah Diment was the most valuable Alpaca. Morgan Ramsay
