The Whitehorse Huskies will howl their way into the new year Thursday night.

The local senior hockey club, sponsored by Nuway Crushing Ltd., is hosting a New Year’s Eve fundraiser at the Casa Loma Hotel, with proceeds going towards team travel costs.

The event will include live music by King Sward Fish.

Team supporters are invited to join their favourite Huskies players for a fun night out.

Tickets are $20 in advance or at the door.

The Huskies’ next action will take place Jan. 8 and 9 at Takhini Arena, as the team hosts the North Island Capitals, from Port Hardy, B.C.
