The Whitehorse Huskies will hold a two-day training camp at the Canada Games Centre Saturday and Sunday.
The senior hockey club has issued an open invitation to players age 18 and older to attend.
On-ice sessions will be held on the Northwestel rink Saturday from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:45. Camp registration will take place immediately prior to Saturday’s ice time.
Full equipment, including a half visor at minimum, is required.
Head coach Mike Tuton said he expects the lion’s share of last year’s roster to vie for positions, but hopes to see newcomers from Whitehorse and the communities to challenge the incumbents. The team will be named in early October.
