Yukon Squash League action continued last week.

The action takes place at Better Bodies courts in Whitehorse with seven teams in two divisions challenging each other for local squash supremacy every Tuesday and Thursday evening.

In league play, five to six players per team battle one-on-one with their adversaries on other teams.

Matches are best-of-five games, and players earn team points for games and matches won.

In Division 1 play Tuesday night:

The Electrical Shop fried Grizzly Electric 18-9, with victories by Jordan Barker, Stephen Buckler,Victor Lavandaros and Daniel Sokolov.

Yukon Tree Services edged Chilkoot Chiropractic and Rehab 14-13, with Jeremy Kovac andGurmaan Rai leading the way.

Stantec Consulting defeated Landed Bakehouse 17-14, with wins by Jeff Muirhead, Terri Cairnsand Slav Bienko.

Ecological Logistics and Research had the bye.

In Division 2 play on Thursday night:

PR Services doubled up Precision North Mechanical 22-11, winners being Colin Schut, PaulPayne, Luke Bakica, and Jake Kitchen.

Steadfast Electric bested Arctic Training 18-12, with Maxime Mazoulle, Harrison Bredy and Samantha Hand emerging victorious.

Northern Futures defeated Silver Ghost Contracting 20-9, with wins by Tristan Rentmeister, Thomas Mills, Neil Clark and Harrison Bredy (again!).

Meadia Solutions had the bye this week.
