Green’s late goal lifts Yukon Inn to 3-3 tie

Yukon Inn sniper Adam Green scored his second goal with just 46 seconds left to preserve a 3-3 tie with EDI in oldtimer hockey action last night.

Yukon Inn sniper Adam Green scored his second goal with just 46 seconds left to preserve a 3-3 tie with EDI in oldtimer hockey action last night.

EDI had the lead going into the last minute at Takhini Arena thanks to goals by Pat Tobler, Chuck Tobin and Paul Lackowicz.

Ernie Jamieson had Yukon Inn’s other goal.

Last game’s other contest saw Medicine Chest down the Firth Rangers 6-1.

Jeff O’Farrell had two goals, Garrett Zacharius had a goal and two assists and Marcel Barrault added three assists in the win.

Shawn Kinsella, Ron Limoges and Alfred Feldman rounded out the scoring, with Wade Harrison adding an unassisted marker for Firth.

On Sunday, the Klondyke Dental Molars edged Air North 3-2 with Tony Park providing the game-winner.

Meanwhile, unbeaten Kilrich improved to 17-0-2 with a 5-0 thrashing of the AON Flames. Goalie Jeff Kalles picked up his league-leading third shutout.

Other action saw EDI beat Medicine Chest 4-2 and Firth skate by Yukon Inn 10-6 in a barnburner that saw Rangers forward Blayne Monahan score four goals and one assist.

Action continues tonight.
