Glacier Bears win 13 medals, break club records
The Glacier Bears performed well at the BC AA Swim Championships, bringing back 13 medals to Whitehorse and breaking club records.

The B.C. AA level Short Course Swim Championships were held in Chilliwack, B.C., this past weekend, and was hosted by the Spartan Swim Club.
In the 11 and under category, Adrian Robinson and Cassis Lindsey, who both at 10 are the youngest two Bears, were at their first AA championships.
Adrian earned bronze medals in the 50 free, 100 back and 100 breaststroke and earned 5th place in the 100 free.
Of particular note regarding Adrian: at this meet he broke Whitehorse Glacier Bears swim club records for 10 and under boys six times. Adrian has broken club records 10 times this season so far.
Lindsey did not medal but gained personal best times in four events.
Sam Storey, 13, earned a bronze in the 100 free and personal bests in all his events.
Edouard Bourcier, 15, gained personal best times in all his events and earned a fourth place in the 400 individual medley.
Kirsten Berube had a great meet in the 15 and over girls category, winning three gold: in the 100 free, 200 IM and 400 IM; silver in the 50 free and bronze in 100 back.
Taylor Campbell earned gold medals in the 200 free and 200 back, silver in 400 free and 100 back and a qualifying time for the AAA's in the summer.
Julia Fedoriak finished fifth in the 50 free, and achieved personal bests in the 200 free and 100 butterfly.
