More than 40 people turned out for the first Intersport 5 km Fun Run/Walk of the season Tuesday night, held in Riverdale.

The 5-km course follows the Millenium Trail along the river for the most part, up to the power dam and back along Nisutlin Drive.

The fastest female in the event was Annie-Claude Gaudet, with a time of 20 minutes and 38 seconds, while the fastest male was Scott Westberg, with a time of 18:32.
