Each year, Swim Yukon presents the annual Ryan Downing Memorial Trophy for the swimmer that has made the greatest improvement in the 200-m IM race ñ 50 metres each of fly, back stroke, breast stroke and freestyle.

The improvement is calculated from swimming the event in 2004 and again in 2005 at the Yukon Invitational. This year, Kaylie Allison and Spencer Sumanik were presented with this prestigious award.

Swim Yukon would like to thank all the volunteers who contributed their time to make the Yukon Ivitational successful, including: the meet manager for the weekend, Brian Edelman, referee Darrell Pasloski, and the coaches for preparing the swimmers, as well as the swimmers for attending.
