A stellar six goal first period sealed the victory for the AON Flames, which went on to defeat the Firth Rangers by a 7-0 Sunday in the Whitehorse Oldtimers Hockey League.

Wade Harrison scored the majority of the goals for Flames, finishing with four goals, while Charles Broadhagen scored once and added one assist.
Other goal scorers on the team included Al Koehl and Eric Van Flotow.
Scott Lowery and Kelly Collons each finished with three assists.
Yukon Inn 4, Edgewater Hotel 1
Lester Balsiuie finished with two goals for Yukon Inn, while Mike Guchette and Brian Bodrse chipped in the squad's remaining goal.
Glen Mills contributed two assists in the win.
Yukon Inn scored three of its four goals in less than a five minute time span in the first period.
Gord Peterson scored the lone goal for Edgewater Hotel, which was assisted by Morley Lessard.
Medicine Chest 4, Kilrich 2
Greg Bull scored twice for Medicine Chest, while the team's remaining goals were put in by Robert Bolton and Dennis Connelly.
Rick Moses and Bill Watson each scored for Kilrich.
Performance Centre Turbos 4, Klondyke Dental Molars 2
Jim Giczi put in two of Performance Centre Turbos' four goals, while Jason Cunning and Grant Lyons also scored.
Laurie Malo and Paul Sahagian scored for the Molars.
