With the season winding down, teams in the Mountainview Men's Commercial Golf League battled it out this past Thursday, using a stroke play format.

Three teams in each division (EMCO Ace Holes, Northerm Knights, Roadhouse Bar and Grill, The Chain Gang, Narrow Gauge and Skookum Asphalt) gained all eight points in the most recent competition.

For EMCO Ace Holes, the team's great showing helped them move into a two-way tie with MacKay LLP. Both teams have 74 points, while Northerm Knights are not far behind, trailing by a single point.

Meanwhile, in the Nicklaus Division - Missing Links has an eight point lead over Super A, and Feature Foods are five points back in third.

With only one week left in regular league play to determine standings for the playoffs, the race for the top spots in each division is very tight.

A fun night scramble will be held on Sept. 3 and playoffs will commence on Sept. 10 with the final round on September 17.
