Enthusiastic start to season for U-11 soccer players

Whitehorse Minor Soccer U-11 had an enthusiastic start to their season on Monday after being delayed a week so that the fields could dry up.

Whitehorse Minor Soccer U-11 had an enthusiastic start to their season on Monday after being delayed a week so that the fields could dry up.

The league consists of eight co-ed teams playing half-field with a waiting list due to its popularity.

Northern Denture defeated Lamarche Pearson 4-1 with Kate Lenders scoring a pair of goals for Northern Denture and Isaac Allen and Frejean Pourier each scoring once. Kate Lenders was the MVP. Alex Soin scored for Lemarche Pearson and Jonathon Lamarche was the MVP for the team.

Surgical Incisions beat Austring Fendrick Fairman and Pakkari 4-2. Spencer Lessard scored two goals and J.J. Cannings and Kyran Allen each scored one for Surgical Incisions.

Tomas Jirousek was the MVP. Ben McClelland and Christian Ouimet scored for Austring Fendrick and Rashaun Suens was MVP.

Klondike Copier beat Property Guys 6-3 with Mackenzie, Quinn and Matthew scoring for Property Guys and Sidney MVP.
