Goalkeeper Geoff 'the cat' Woodhouse was in imperious form for Tony's Pizza as they overcame a depleted Yukon Info.com squad 7-3 in Whitehorse Rapids over 35 soccer action.

Woodhouse used all his feline abilities, pouncing time and again at the feet of the Yukon Info attackers.

Woodhouse was assisted by his defence of Gareth Howells, Gohere Hafeez, Joe Morrison and Nathan Bingham who harried and hustled the opposition into distraction.

Goal scorers Justin Carre 3, Andy Todd 2, Arnold Hedstrom and Graham White all benefited from the defence.

With the win, Tony’s Pizza improves to two wins and two ties on the season and is the only team without a loss. Yukon Info.com never gave up and fought till the end with Jan Aalt van den Horne, J.P Ladroue and Shawn Fearon all scoring.

Macdonald shines for KBS

Skipper Danny Macdonald lights up any game he is involved in, and Saturday was no exception as he led his Klondike Business Solutions team to an 8-2 victory over winless Yukon Brewing.

Macdonald lit up the Brew scoring early and directing play, as they controlled the game from the start to finish.

Macdonald grabbed 2, as did Eric Murphy and David Rayo, who scored a wondrous headed goal, with Adil Khalik and James McCullough chalking up strikes.

The two Jims — Connell and Brown — got consolations for Yukon Brewing.
