Electrical Shop grabs 24 points, pulls ahead of Kilrich

The Electrical Shop took all 24 possible points this week, jumping past Kilrich to third overall in the Tuesday Night Squash League Standings with a total of 200 points.

The Electrical Shop took all 24 possible points this week, jumping past Kilrich to third overall in the Tuesday Night Squash League Standings with a total of 200 points.

Kilrich Industries picked up just nine points and now sits in fourth place with a total of 191. The junior team of Underhill remains on top of the league standings, grabbing 19 points for a total of 242. Defending champion Pizza Hut is still holding onto second spot with a total of 214 after claiming 10 points Tuesday.

Yukon Brewing Company, Ketza Construction and Assante Financial Management round out the standings. The brew crew took home 17 points last night for a total of 173, which is good enough for fifth place overall. Ketza had the lowest point total on the night, picking up just eight points for a total of 171. The construction company currently sits in sixth spot.

Assante had the bye this week and falls to seventh with a total of 161 points.

Winning their matches for Electrical were Jeff Seaman, Troy Cairns, Nils Clarke and Jared Tuck. Seaman defeated Kilrich's Chris Toleman in four games while Cairns took care of Marie Desmarais in four. Clarke needed five games to beat Chris Ziegler while Tuck sent Lori Muir home in four.

Grayson Peters, Julien Revel and Marc Emond were victorius for Underhill. Peters ousted Pizza Hut's Jim Gilpin in four games while Revel got rid of Don Emond in four. Marc Emond won his match by default.

Mike Bernier was the lone victor for Pizza Hut. Bernier defeated Lia Johnson in four games.

Pierre Bourbeau, Blaine Tessier and Rejean Babineau won their matches for Yukon Brewing. Bourbeau sent Ketza's Kevin McDonnell, who was filling in for Richard Wale, packing after four games. Tessier, who was subbing for Paul Goguen, swept Steve Fecteau in three games while Babineau took care of Brad Barton, who was filling in for David Hedmann, in three straight.

Lee Reeve won the lone match for Ketza. Reeve whipped Andrew Corney in three straight games.
